About us
Who We Are
Beautiful Care Initiative is a Kenyan nonprofit organization working to support vulnerable and orphaned children and families, with a particular focus on education, nutrition, health, child protection, and welfare.
The organization was founded in 2023 by Dancan Otieno and Monica Marienga, and we have continued to grow through community involvement, local partnerships, and support from individual donors.
We are currently working in Migori and Homa Bay Counties in Kenya, where many families face economic challenges that directly affect children’s ability to learn, attend school consistently, and meet their basic needs.
Our approach is simple:
Find children and communities facing real challenges, listen to their needs, and connect them with practical support that can make a lasting difference.

The Challenge We Address
Child hunger and inadequate school meals
Many vulnerable children attend school without enough nutritious food, affecting their concentration, attendance, and ability to learn.
Lack of essential school supplies
Children from low-income and vulnerable families may lack exercise books, textbooks, stationery, school bags, uniforms, shoes, and other basic learning materials.
Limited mentorship and guidance
Some children lack positive mentorship and encouragement to develop confidence, make informed choices, and build aspirations for their future.

What We Do
At Beautiful Care Initiative, we support vulnerable and needy children by helping them access the basic resources they need to stay in school, learn, and thrive.
School Feeding: We provide nutritious meals to help children attend school, concentrate in class, and learn without the distraction of hunger.
Education Support: We provide essential learning materials such as exercise books, textbooks, stationery, school bags, uniforms, and shoes.
Child Mentorship: We encourage and mentor children, helping them build confidence, develop positive values, and see possibilities for their future.
Child Welfare & Protection: We support vulnerable and orphaned children and work to promote their wellbeing, dignity, and safety.
Hygiene Support: We provide basic hygiene supplies where needed to help children maintain healthy and dignified lives.
Community Support: We work with schools, families, communities, and partners to identify children in need and connect them with practical support.
